｢いちばん美しい夏～Firefly Dreams｣(2001年全国ロードショー)に楽曲提供。

ここからHiroumiの音楽生活が始まる。

バンドSecret Oceanを結成後，名古屋ハートランドスタジオを中心にライヴ活動開始。

2003年にクラリオン/フジTV・オーディション｢MEDAMA2003｣で6500組中ファイナル進出。同年カラオケJOYSOUNDで｢Ship｣配信開始。

その後，CMに楽曲提供，ギタリストとしてメジャー系アルバム制作に参加，映画のインスト制作などに携わりながら上京。

現在はAbleton Liveでトラックメイクしたものに，アコースティックギターと歌を乗せて独特の音世界を紡ぎ，Hiroumiとしてソロ活動中。

Hiroumi is a Japanese singer song writer from okayama prefecture in Japan.

From an early age, Hiroumi grew up listening to pop music.

The fact that Hiroumi’s father played guitar to help him relax was beneficial to them both,

seeing as listening to the sound of his father’s guitar helped Hiroumi sleep.

At age 15, started to learn guitar and he eventually progressed to writing his own songs.

The songs of the Beetles, U2 and  other British music had a significant affect on HIroumi’s songs.

Had he soon realized that he loved  music.

Hiroumi’s influences are U2, Coldplay, Radiohead, Bonobo, Del Amitri, and Sigur Rós etc.

With a sweet James blunt Like vocal style.

And the warmth of an acoustic guitar.

Set to a back drop electronic sound.

Hiroumi’s songs tell the stories of love and life in his own unique way.

In 2001  Hiroumi’s  songs ‘Ema’ and ‘Na na na’  were used in the Japanese movie ‘Firefly Dreams’ by welsh  Director John Williams.

In 2003 Hiroumi formed the band Secret Ocean.

In 2003 Secret Ocean out of 6500 other contestants reached 2nd place in the talent competition MEDAMA2003 hosted by Clarion and Fuji TV.

The song Ship from Secret Ocean’s debut cd became so popular it was used by the Japanese karaoke  company Joysound.

Also in 2003 Tire World used the song ‘Peace’ as they’re campaign song for their television commercial.

Today as well as being an active performer and musician.

Hiroumi also works with friends on other side projects. 

And is active doing what he loves to do.

もう音楽続けるの無理かな。。。

家族を持ってからそう思うようになった。

まだ赤ん坊の息子が何も知らずにただ僕を見て笑ってくれる。

途中で諦めたら将来この子が大きくなった時に何を語ってあげれるだろう。

精一杯頑張ったよって言えるだろうか。

妻にその思いを伝えたら笑顔で許してくれた。
